Throughout 2026, Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) continues to implement comprehensive management, oversight, and quality control activities regarding aviation personnel training for service providers, including the Saigon Ground Services Joint Stock Company (SAGS). These measures are designed to ensure strict compliance with statutory regulations, specialized aviation standards, and international best practices, with a specific focus on the IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) standards.

ACV conducts these evaluations based on the prevailing legal framework and signed cooperation agreements, while adhering closely to ISAGO requirements regarding personnel competency, training curricula, quality control, and continuous improvement. Through these efforts, ACV clearly demonstrates its role as the entity responsible for managing and overseeing input service quality, ensuring that training activities meet the stringent requirements for safety, quality, and operational efficiency at airports.

The scope of management and oversight focuses on core elements, including: legal foundations and training facilities; course organization processes; curriculum content and lesson plans; instructor competency; training quality control; and post-training impact assessment. All elements are aligned with the ISAGO framework and current Vietnamese regulations. Assessment activities are deployed using various methodologies, such as document review, on-site inspections, personnel interviews, and direct classroom observation.

By reinforcing the management and oversight of training in accordance with ISAGO standards, ACV reaffirms its position as the coordinating entity responsible for ensuring quality benchmarks within the aviation ecosystem. This contributes to enhancing human resource capacity, ensuring operational safety, and elevating service quality across the entire airport network.
