Guided by the principle of “Shared Vision – Shared Growth – Shared Elevation,” Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) recently convened a series of in-depth working sessions with two key air cargo operators, TCS and SAGS. This initiative marks a significant step toward standardizing operational processes and enhancing overall performance, with a strategic focus on the upcoming ISAGO audit in 2026.
Amid a rapidly evolving global aviation landscape, requirements for service quality and safety in air cargo operations are becoming increasingly stringent. Recognizing this fact, ACV, in collaboration with TCS and SAGS, organized these sessions to comprehensively review current operational practices and proactively develop a roadmap for system upgrades. The central objective is to align with anticipated updates and improvements under the IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) framework for 2026.

Discussions on solutions to elevate the quality of air cargo operations
During the discussions, representatives from all parties candidly addressed existing challenges in cargo handling at airports. The sessions also served as a platform to exchange best practices, innovative process improvements, and quality management experience in line with international standards.
Key areas of focus included:
- Enhancing process standardization: Streamlining operational steps to ensure consistency, seamless coordination, and synchronization among stakeholders.
- Human resource development: Strengthening professional competencies and compliance awareness among frontline personnel.
- Digital transformation and technology adoption: Integrating advanced technologies into operations management and monitoring to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Safety and security assurance: Ensuring strict adherence to all safety, security, and service quality regulations in air cargo operations.
This series of professional exchanges not only reinforced collaboration among ACV, TCS, and SAGS across the service supply chain, but also established an open forum for practical engagement and the co-creation of integrated solutions.
With a strong spirit of partnership and comprehensive cooperation, ACV and its partners reaffirm their commitment to building a professional, modern, and sustainable air cargo operating environment. This serves as a solid foundation for continuously elevating service quality and meeting the dynamic growth demands of Vietnam’s aviation sector in the upcoming strategic phase.
